Re: Ivan Barnes
Further to my request for members to visit Ivan, who is gravely ill with Prostate Cancer.
Ivan has now moved to the MCKEAN HOSPICE at his own request. His comfort has greatly improved, and he is very happy in his new surroundings.
However, he still craves more contact with English speaking people. At the moment, a few Legion members visit Ivan as and when they can. Moreover, I am assured that Ivan is most appreciative of these visits. Everybody who goes, comments on Ivan’s cheerful nature and his vast awareness of things around him.

Ivan’s needs/wants are few, he appreciates a few oranges every day, otherwise he is perfectly happy to hold conversations with all who visit.
