About the Legion
the royal british legion
The Royal British Legion safeguards the welfare, interests and memory of those who are serving or who have served in the Armed Forces. We are one of the UK’s largest membership organisations and recognised as custodians of Remembrance. We also run the annual Poppy Appeal.

  Who we help

We help serving and ex-Service personnel and their families. Not just those who fought in the two World Wars, but also those involved in the many conflicts since 1945 and those still fighting today.

What we do
poppy appeal 11th November

poppy appeal 11th November

We provide welfare services, campaign on a range of issues affecting Service people, are custodians of Remembrance, raise funds through the annual Poppy Appeal and we are a membership organisation.

Membership is open to everyone. If you have an interest in the objectives of the Legion and want to help and support for those who have served and their families, come and join us. We welcome men and women of all ages, whether they have served in the Armed Forces or not.

Becoming a member also provides the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of activities and events held locally, regionally and nationally throughout the year.

The Royal British Legion Chiang Mai

does all of the above and more for example: If a member has problems and needs help, we will try and provide assistance, a member or ex-forces dies here in Northern Thailand and their family needs assistance we will provide.

Meetings: Our regular Social Evenings are held at the Kamala Guesthouse. At present we meet every first & third Wednesday of the month.

Check our ACTIVITIES in the right hand column to find out where you can meet up with us this month.
